However, if the automobile has some rust on the body around the window seal, then the warranty may or may not cover the repair. If the glass breaks, cracks, comes loose or any other defective situation that alters the work completed on the glass, the warranty will cover the repairs. However, the warranty cannot be transferred from person to person, so as soon as you get rid of the automobile, the glass warranty will become invalid and null. It is a good idea to clearly understand the limits of your warranty and understand which conditions can make it null and void.
The auto glass company can give you information about purchasing a warranty. It is very important to be covered in case of an accident or a defect. Ask the auto glass company staff about what options are available to you regarding the purchase of a glass warranty. Most warranties do not cost much money and most are a one time investment. It is always better to be safe than sorry; so if your installation does not include a warranty, you should consider purchasing one.
