The XC90 V8: A Purebred Performer with Its Supercharged Volvo
One absolute requirement for the new V8 engine was that it had to be installed transversely in the engine compartment, just like all other Volvo engines. A transverse engine is helpful in maintaining the frontal crumple zones in the XC90 and thus not compromise on protective safety," says Hans Wikman. For this reason, extremely compact external dimensions were essential for the new engine. This also explains the choice of just 60 degrees between the two banks of cylinders -- as opposed to the more conventional 90 degrees. A new 6-speed automatic "Geartonic" transmission rounds out the driveline. Volvo C90 V8 engine has compact dimensions and weighs just 418 pounds, which is necessary for low fuel consumption. It has ultra high performance alloy wheels, ultra deep front air dam, small, high intensity fog lamps, and custom fabricated wheel arches, 13-inch floating rear brakes, shod with 4-piston calipers. 15-inch floating discs with 8-piston calipers handle brake duty up front. The ULEV-II certified low emission vehicles including the XC90 V8 is another testimony to its commitment to the environment. The production Volvo XC90 V8 has the makings of purebred performer. With 311 horsepower and 325 ft.-lb. or torque at a low 3,900 rpm the Volvo XC90 stresses its position as one of the most successful SUV models in the premium segment.

Mustang Aftermarket Auto Parts
There are restrictions to the size of wheel and tire you can mount. So make sure you do some research. There are a lot of forums about wheels and tires as well as you local tire company. All you really need is the make, model and year of your car and the current tire size that is mounted on your vehicle. The last thing you want to do is spend the money on some wheels and tires and find out they won't fit on your vehicle. Make sure you do some research on the types of materials that the wheels are made of. Some take extra care in keeping them clean, where some do not! I also like to mention to take a look at what type of tire your mounting. Is it going to handle the type of driving that you are doing? Another recommendation is if you change out your wheels and tires, hold on to your stock set and run the stock set in the winter, if you drive it in the winter and if you live in the north. Interior accessories are always a nice way to add some change to your interior. Mustang has a great billet package. Door handles, door locks, accessory control knobs, shifters, pedal covers and door runners. Some are functional and some are pure looks. Functional would be for added air intake, like ram air. Keep in mind that most body kit parts need to be painted, so make sure you budget for this. Talk to a local paint shop to get an estimate so you know what it is going to take. Now we can get into the performance side of it. I know you want to make that Mustang rumble a little, right? Well from headers, to H pipes, cat back systems, and high flow mufflers, you can purchase them all. How about checking out a supercharger. You can upgrade your horsepower greatly and still use it as a daily driver. This gets a little deep as to installation, but most kits come complete with everything you need. And to be honest it really isn't much of an issue to install yourself. If not a supercharger, then maybe a cold air induction kit. A note on cold air intakes. Maybe you have noticed a lot of Mustangs looking just like yours. Well in this world today, you will see the same exact car you are driving. It's inevitable and going to happen. Well there is something you can do about it. It's all in aftermarket auto parts. Yes, you to can make a change to your automobile. Mustang or not, you can still make that change, its really as simple as adding some aftermarket items, from interior to exterior and even performance items.

Parts Train now offers exceptional Power Vision Towing Mirrors
The mirror has a significantly larger viewing area than the stock power mirrors, and has less vibration. In addition to the usual 4-way power adjustment, the new mirrors have a motorized in-out adjustment, which will move them close to the vehicle for non-towing use, or extend them outward six inches for towing. If your truck comes with factory installed mirror heating, Partstrain also offers heated versions of the mirrors for continued frost-free rear views. To use Parts train's Power Vision Towing mirror, the power adjustment is a major convenience, just press a switch and the mirrors retract. Install power mirrors in your vehicles and see the difference. As they aged, the extension mirror adjustment began to slip out of position on bumpy roads. Worse, after years of use, the extra weight and vibration of the slide-on mirror destroyed the breakaway cam for the driver's side original power mirror, so that the extra windage of the slide-on mirror and the worn breakaway cam caused the mirror to fold against the truck in strong head winds, or when passed by a big truck.
The Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3
Traxxas engineers equipped the new T-Maxx 3.3 with an extended wheelbase (30mm longer) for maximum stability. T-Maxx is able to put more power the ground for even more acceleration and amazing directional control. There's no skimping when it comes to the chassis. It's formed from 4mm thick 6061-T6 aluminum and then anodized in brilliant blue. Meaty new chassis braces and an all-new skid plate add rock-solid rigidity. More Power! The wheelie bar has 4-snap-in-adjustment-positions that allow you to choose how extreme you want your action to be. In the down position, it keeps the front end of the T-Maxx planted to show off the incredible acceleration possible with the TRX 3.3. Raise the wheelie bar to its full-up position and the action gets wild, with giant wheelies that hang on as long as you keep mashing the throttle… even through second gear! The new T-Maxx 3.3 continues to be faster on its two back wheels than most other trucks are on the ground. The TRX 3.3 Racing Engine is famous for its broad, linear output that makes Extreme Horsepower available practically anywhere in the rpm range. At the opposite end, the Resonator dual-chamber Maxx pipe provides an average peak torque increase of 16% over the standard Maxx pipe, and a 10% increase in total power across the whole range. Full mirror polish adds that final touch. Powerful New Steering With T-Maxx's bigger, grippier tires and the ability to go even deeper off-road, you need steering authority you can count on. The new T-Maxx 3.3 is equipped with a new bellcrank steering system with an integrated servo saver. It's powered by a high-torque digital servo that delivers a whopping 50% more torque than a standard hi-torque servo. It's got the muscle to steer through ruts, deep sand and other high-load conditions that try to throw you off course.

The Collectible GMC Motor Home
The rear suspension was a product of GM's bus design, using dual swing arms, one leading and one trailing, with a single air spring on each side. Instead of a auto body steel, the body was to be made of lightweight aluminum and molded fiberglass-reinforced plastic such as was used in the Chevrolet Corvette. The front wheel drive and independent swing arm rear suspension brought great improvement to the standard motor home design. The lack of drive shafts and axles underneath the coach allowed a very low floor height, leading in turn to a low overall vehicle height and lower center of gravity. Ease of getting to the destination was of secondary concern, and cumbersome handling on the road was taken for granted. GMC made a special point of targeting this feature for improvement by adding visibility from the driver's seat with a panoramic expanse of glass. The GMC motor home had never sold at high volumes, and the company decided that the RV production facilities could be more profitably used to make light trucks. After the manufacture of 12,921 vehicles, production of motor homes was discontinued after the 1978 model year. Almost immediately after production ceased, GMC motor homes became collectors' items, with owners' associations being established to provide parts and service for these vehicles. Small manufacturers and garages developed a cottage industry servicing them. The common design in this era was a boxy, ungainly and top-heavy unit on a truck chassis. The GMC vehicle was intended to be a completely new design in every way. Design work began in 1970, with the market introduction planned for 1973. The motor home was featured in 23 foot and 26 foot lengths, fairly small even for this era. Nowadays, much larger models are common. The motor home's interior design was compact, with no permanent sleeping areas in the original design. All beds were converted from seating areas when required.
